I guess it's naptime

I guess it's naptime

We got Savannah a Jump & Go (a.k.a. Johnny Jump-Up a.k.a. Jumperoo, etc.) because she loves to kick her feet and I need a place to put her while I’m cooking in the kitchen. She really likes it! She’ll kick her feet and laugh and make cute noises, even when we’re not looking at her. I have a video, but I don’t know how to get it off the camera… Gotta pull out the manual again…

Last night, she was in the Jump & Go jumping away. I had my back to her, and at one point I realized that she had gotten quiet. I looked over and saw this:

Sleeping in the jumperoo

Sleeping in the jumperoo

She was completely asleep! I took her out of the jumper and she hardly even stirred. I just cant help myself – she’s so cute. :-)

  1. Does it move around or stationary? Neil has an exersaucer. He likes it, but he gets bored with *everything* in a little while. OTOH, if I am carrying him around, he could be like that the entire day and not make a fuss. We honestly don’t have a whole lot of room for lots more toys, but I think this would be a useful for upstairs.

  2. Annie: The jumper hangs from the doorframe and has a spring so the baby can jump up and down using their feet. That’s why I like it – she can make it move, and since she loves to kick her feet anyways…

I keep it in the doorway going to the kitchen, which is perfect because she’s closeby but not in the way. I will say, she doesn’t love it 100% of the time, but if she’s in the right mood she thinks it’s great.

  3. TOO CUTE! I love it when the girls would just fall asleep in random places. neither of my girls really got the hang of our Johnny jump up, i’m not sure why.
